Harwich Boat Train Locomotives 1963 - 1988
The second Summer of the Sunday Harwich Boat Train saw it headed by a Stratford based Class 47 on almost all of the Sundays that it ran. The exceptions being Bristol Bath Road allocatted 47247 on June 28th and Plymouth Laira allocatted 47144 on September 6th. The locomotive on a couple of Sundays is not known, please contact Peter Hall if you can help fill the gaps in the records.
The coaching stock formation was as the previous year, TSO, TSO, TSO, BSO, FK, 2TSO, TSO (7).
