CL 43001 Despatched to the sidings of Anglian Building Products, Lenwade (with 43018) in May 1966.  It is unclear why, possibly temporary staff accommodation, or where they an off site local preservation project for one of the East Anglian railway preservation projects.  What became of it isn't known.  Further information would be welcomed.

BS 43141 References suggest that this was preserved at the North Norfolk Railway in 6/70. However, no references confiorming its presence have so far emerged so possible it was located elsewhere for restoration.  What became of it isn't known.
BS 43159 Despatched from Whittlesea, Cambridgeshire (with 46140 & 46213) on 10th January 1978, to Cresswell, Staffordshire (junction for Cheadle branch), then vanishes! 46140 & 46213 (see below) were subsequently sold from Ellastone, presumably referring to The Titanic Steamship Company, Crab Key, Ellastone, Staffordshire. Was 43159 located with them and if so precisely where?
BS 43161 Preserved at Mid Hants Railway, arrived 6/4/78, then to The Sidings, Station Road, Witney, Oxfordshire for use as a restaurant (with FO 3043). Scrapped on site following a fire.
BS 43181 Originally numbered 53181. Preserved at Keighley & Worth Valley Railway 1971. Disposed of to Armytage & Sons, Sheepbridge, Chesterfield, cut 12/74.
BS 43186 Originally numbered 53186. Preserved at Midland Railway Centre, Butterley, Derbyshire, then to East Somerset Railway were broken up c4/09.
BS 43231 Originally numbered 53231. Used by MoD at Longmoor Military Railway numbered ARMY 5301. Preserved at Longmoor, Liss, Hampshire, moved to Eastleigh, Hampshire, then to East Somerset Railway, then to Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, broken up 1982.
BS 43240 Originally numbered 53240. Transferred to Departmental Stock as DE321052. Disposed of to Vic Berry, Leicester for scrap in 1985. Body retained as a store shed until scrapped in early 1992.
BS 43266 Originally numbered 53051. Used by RNAD at Trecwn. Preserved at Gwili Railway, then to Teifi Valley Railway, broken up c2003.
BS 43275 Originally numbered 53086. Used by MoD at Longmoor numbered AD3034. Moved to ROF Radway Green 1970. Preserved at Churnet Valley Railway, arrived February 1982, broken up 6/11.

Moved to Padiham late 1990, then to Severn Valley Railway. Broken up 1994.
S 46142 Preserved at North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Moved to Caledonian Railway, Brechin, broken up c11/00.
S 46145 Preserved at Keighley & Worth Valley Railway 1972. Body broken up c5/93. Chassis retained and now has the body of Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Club Train Saloon 47 mounted on it.

S 46228 Preserved at Keighley & Worth Valley Railway 1969. Body scrapped but chassis retained as wagon before being scrapped in 1984.
S 46235 Preserved at North Yorkshire Moors Railway, then to Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway 1977. Body scrapped 1984-85 but chassis retained as wagon before being scrapped 2004.
