February 2021 Yorkshire Class 153s

The month started with ten Class 153 units stabled at various locations in Yorkshire.

On the afternoon of Thursday 4th February 153360 saw use between Huddersfield and Castleford as a chaperon to 150274 which had developed a cab equipment fault. The following day 153301 saw use on the route all day. Subsequently Class 153's have been occasionally used on the Monday - Saturday morning trains on this route.

Particularly notable was the use late on Friday 12th February of 153331 between Sheffield and Worksop. Also the use of 153332 between Leeds - Sheffield - Nottingham on Monday 22nd February.
