Ex BR Class 08s of the Somerset Quarries - top page
Hired from Serco Railtest, Derby arriving at Merehead Stone Terminal in June 1999. In addition to seeing use at Merehead Stone Terminal it spent some time at Whatley Quarry, near Frome and the East Somerset Railway and also returned to Derby for a period on at least one occasion. It finally departed back to Derby in April 2002. For this locomotive any sightings of it from 1999 to 2002 whilst both in Somerset and elsewhere would be very much appreciated.
