Q20.11. Maunsell S15s on ex-SECR Routes
Were S15s allowed in Kent post 1945, and, if so, on which routes? Before 1939 they were restricted to freight workings on the ex SER main line, and they were not allowed to exceed 45m/hr. The only known record post 1945 seems to have been 30835 which reached Folkestone junction from Redhill in June 1958. (Chris Berridge: 13993)
