20.08. Joop Quanjer, Member of Dutch Railway Society NVBS.
The RCTS and NVBS were affiliated in the late 1930s with Joop Quanjer of the NVBS and George Grigs of the RCTS being known to have been involved.
Hans van Poll of the NVBS has requested anything we know about the affiliation but there is no mention of Joop in the Management Committee minutes of the time.
He was mentioned in the RO in connection with a visit by RCTS members to the NVBS 25th anniversary.
A publication about the photographic work of Joop Quanjer is proposed, and apart from the location of his negatives, very little is known.
Can anyone give any information about, and is there any photograph of, Joop Quanjer?
